THE RIGHT EXERCISE FOR YOU

Okay, so maybe you’re a couch potato. You’d much rather prefer to stay in bed reading a good book (one by Anita Shreve or Melissa De La Cruz) to a glorious day in the sun, sweating out.
Then you look at yourself in the mirror and see a different person staring back at you. Is it really me? You ask yourself, stunned at your own reflection. You’re getting in pretty bad shape and have lost the glow of youth (haha).
Now you’re raring to get off your butt.
But getting into the right exercise program could be tricky. It’s not enough to be in your best shoes at 5 am, running around the oval. First, set your goal. Ask yourself what you want to achieve.
If you want to simply lose weight, a low-impact activity or no-impact aerobic activity may be a good start. If you wish to strengthen your muscles, you might want to invest in weight machines or try calisthenics or other strength-conditioning programs.
So what are you waiting for? Get those muscles revved up for a beautiful, healthier you!
